The lake has closed despite lots of rain. It will fill quickly as we seem to be locked into a very wet period.
The river provided good bags late in the day however the channel is really firing now.
The bream are taking frozen prawn with quite a few 2 pounders in the bag.
Flathead can be caught on plastics almost anywhere; however, the channel would be best. The size is a bit small so anglers will need to release the undersize ones.
Catch of the week was over a kilo caught by Cody Gillard.
Cody won a gold cup as well as winning the shield for Bemm Angling Club against Snowy River Angling Club.
The fishing platform has come up trumps with some great action, even when the water was only a foot (300mil) deep.
Early in the morning and evening has been best.
For lure anglers it is a good time to be at Bemm lots of options and trophy bream on offer.
